The NNF Essential Continuing Professional Development workshop aims at building the capacity of facilitators in schools that use Essential Resources for teaching and learning. It is an annual and continuous programme that seeks to respond to a perennial rise in labour turnover that confronts most private schools across the country.
Over the years, NNF has been offering FREE Teacher Continuous Professional Development training to its customers as well as prospective ones. As an accredited NTC trainer, we focus on the new standards-based curriculum by NaCCA which we have strictly complied with in publishing our resources. Some of the modules are:
Effective Teaching Using Teacher's Guide (ETUTG), Strategies for Cooperative Learning, Developing Core Competencies in Learners, Understanding the Content and Structure of the Standards-based curriculum, Common Core Programme and many more. We offer either generic(cluster of Schools) or school-based to address specific needs. And we also monitor delivery of lessons in class to be sure lessons are learner-centered and competencies-based.
