This story is set in a period in time when our parents looked at the sun to tell the time, counted the number of new moons to determine the season of the year. 

If you asked to know of your age, they would have to recollect how many times they shifted cultivation of their farms, to be able to know how old you could be. Trial by ordeal was the ultimate and highest court of appeal. 

Agbelengor was only a child, when the raiders came, destroying and abducting into slavery. 

This adventure is the rare escape story of a survivor.
