Introducing Religious and Moral Education as one of the subjects in the new standards-based curriculum is to equip learners with the knowledge they require to make good religious and moral choices important for their personal development and the good of the home, society and nation at large.

The book has been written with the aim of providing learners with this required knowledge to assist the Ministry of Education in adequately achieving its aim of introducing the subject into the school curriculum. For this reason, it has been consciously infused with comprehensive notes and information in very interesting style on all the topics and subtopics prescribed in the syllabus.
